Britain Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) is delighted to announce the renewal of its partnership with O’Neills, marking a new three-year sponsorship agreement for the All Britain Competition (ABCs).
As one of the founding sponsors of the ABCs, O’Neills has supported the event from its very beginning. This renewed commitment further strengthens the relationship between O’Neills and Britain GAA, underscoring a shared dedication to promoting Gaelic Games and nurturing young talent across Britain.
The All Britain Competition stands as the flagship youth event in the Britain GAA calendar, bringing together children aged U7–U18 from clubs and schools across England, Scotland, and Wales to compete in Gaelic Football, Ladies Football, Hurling, and Camogie. The 2025 competition, held at The Hazelwood Centre in Sunbury-on-Thames, saw a record-breaking 4,386 children take part in four days of Gaelic Games — a remarkable reflection of the growth, enthusiasm, and community spirit that continue to define the ABCs.
Sean Hopkins, Chairperson of Britain GAA, expressed his appreciation for the continued partnership:
“Partnerships like this are vital in keeping the All Britain Competition thriving year after year. The support of O’Neills will directly contribute to the development of the next generation of Gaelic Games players and strengthen our sporting communities across Britain. We are incredibly grateful for their long-term commitment and look forward to continuing this valued collaboration over the next three years.”
Founded on a passion for sport and performance, O’Neills’ pioneering spirit has made it a trusted name within the global GAA community. Their ethos of inspiring everyone to pursue their passion, aligns perfectly with the ABCs’ mission to celebrate participation, connection, and pride at the grassroots level.
O’Neills UK Sales Rep, Seán Scanlon said:
“O’Neills are delighted to renew our long-standing sponsorship of the ABC Tournament. We have witnessed the exponential growth of the competition over the years and are extremely proud to have been involved since its inception. The ABCs have become a highlight of the British GAA calendar and provide a wonderful opportunity for us to support the youth game and the vibrant GAA community across Britain.”
The renewed partnership reaffirms O’Neills’ commitment to the ongoing success of the ABCs and to the young players who represent the future of Gaelic Games in Britain.
